Performance documentation at handover
You receive a home manual with your blower door test results, HERS rating certificate, Manual J load calculation, as-built details of the control layers, and the manuals and warranties for your equipment. If you ever sell, that file is evidence of how the house was built.
Living in a high performance home
A high performance home needs a little care to stay that way. We walk you through the ERV and how it works; its filters should be replaced at the intervals the equipment manufacturer recommends. We also cover what indoor humidity range to aim for, and how to keep gutters, downspouts and grading moving water away from the foundation.
Responsive service
We schedule walkthroughs at 6 months and 12 months to catch anything that has settled in during the first year, and between visits you can reach us by email for service requests.
